Somebody shared their group’s year with you. Here is what those cards are, what they leave out on purpose, and how a group gets its own.
What the group spent together. Where most of it went. The busiest month. Who paid first most often, who logged the most, who settled up most, who picked up the biggest one, who was in first. Each card is one fact the ledger already knew, given a name and a title.
Nothing about who owes whom. Nothing about who was slowest to pay, who spent the least, who was reminded most. A card names an action somebody took — paying, logging, settling — never a state they are in. The list of cards that were considered and refused is kept beside the list that shipped, with the reason for each.
Anyone can ask not to be named, from their account screen, and the cards are worked out without them from that moment. What they spent still counts in the group’s totals; their name appears on nothing.
The cards are read inside the group, by its members. When somebody shares their Wrapped, what goes out is a sentence and this page — no amounts, no names, no descriptions. The deck stays where the ledger is.
